Civil Servants Spotted in Shopping During Working Hours

In a bid to control the discipline of employees in the office, West Jakarta Mayor Anas Effendi held sudden inspection on Wednesday (1/28). The existence of shopping and culinary center around the office may allegedly cause employees idled.

In that occasion, one staff of West Jakarta Spatial Planning Sub-Department was spotted shopping in the shopping center during working hours. West Jakarta Mayor Anas Effendi then immediately ordered his assistant to record the employee's identity.

Besides close to shopping and culinary center, he assessed, the information from Jakarta Governor Basuki 'Ahok' T Purnama saying cafeteria in West Jakarta Mayor office often crowded with employees during working hours.
